I have been told that Oxybenzone is a hazardous chemical that will soon be banned by the FDA. I searched online for a new sunscreen and paid top dollar for the Blue Lizard. and 'advertised as "chemical" free. When the product arrived and I read the ingredients, I was shocked and disappointed to see that the product contains the chemical oxybenzone.br / Blue Lizard needsreview their advertising to provide accurate information.

Just to be clear, this review is for the Regular Blue Lizard Australian SPF 30 + sunscreen. I live in Hawaii and usually do not burn, but I still want to be protected. on the boat today, I slathered this on my back and used a different sunscreen on my face, chest (La Roche Posay Anthelios) and umbrella on my stomach. When we came back from a day of boating and raise children, my back was completely burned. my face, chest and stomach are all beautiful. my husband and daughter, fortunately,do not use this suncream.br / br / the ingredients are Octinoxate 7.5%, Octocrylene 2%, Oxybenzone 3%, zinc oxide (Z-cote) 6%. br / br / I would not recommend this formulation. I'm not sure of others, but I'm not going to chance it.

Blue Lizard sunscreen was my dermotologist I wanted to use. I used to be able to buy at the supermarket, but failed to find this year. Was pleased to find it on Amazon. Lizard Blue is one of only on the counter you can buy sunscreen that contains at least 3% zinc (the only true sun blockers). It goes on easily and evenly and does not run when you sweat. my whole family uses it.

Here are the active ingredients for sunscreen SPORT Octinoxate (7.5%), Octocrylene (2%), Oxybenzone (3%), zinc oxide (6%). if you want to be titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, you must buy the same brand of sunscreen BABY, here are its ingredients: titanium dioxide (5%), zinc oxide (10%). I prefer the Baby version b / c does not contain chemicals and oxides are not absorbed through the skin.there is also some evidence that the Oxybenzone chemical can damage the skin itself and cells.
